The story I will be working on for the NaNoWriMo November novel challenge will be called, “Devil’s Dilemma.”
Roger Eastman, a business graduate born in New Jersey, finds himself lost in Northern Africa after a business venture leaves him high and dry. After seven days of being stranded within the wild, Roger is abducted by an indigenous tribe. Before his execution, Roger makes a bold claim to his captors: that he is the Devil. Roger is set free by the tribe’s king on the condition that he is granted three wishes. With no other options, Roger must miraculously pull off three far-fetched requests in order to save his life.
The wishes will be crazy things like, “make it rain for three months straight” or, “kill the leader of this opposing tribe.”
I have no real setting or time period yet. I was thinking it’d take place in Africa during the scramble for Africa.
